potty on potter!!!! LOL

I don't understand how people can accept shit that people write in the name of magic, but wont accept love as magical. And how can ANYONE accept liking a book, or a series of books, that a confirmed non-reader reads? Case in point being Harry Potter. I cannot stand them anymore. Partly because its a whole lotta crap, secondly because the dog on the footpath reads Harry Potter. By that I mean, EVERYONE, everyone, everyone has read those books. AND NOT because they like to read, or because they found it by trial and error, but just because it's a craze. Because everyone from a 7 yr old to a 70 yr old reads it, and they all feel kicked about reading a book with 782 pages. (WOW! ). She writes well, no doubt. Fast and exciting, but is that all reading is about? A book like that doesn't stay with you. Though everyone MUST buy alllll seven books, and must regard them with reverence, how many people actually re-read them? With immense and increasing reluctance I read the 5 and 6 th book, solely because I was damningly free. (AND trust me, I can't remember what happens in either!) But the seventh book, I refused downright. Probably someday, when I'm old and wrinkly and I want to know what finally happens to that potter boy, or I want to converse about books to absolute nincompoops, I'll read them. But till then, Potty on potter!!! LOL
