and because i was early...

I happened to once, albeit by chance, reach work early. And since I am quite the dreamer, I decided to sit and watch the early morning rush at Churchgate Stn. It was like clockwork, a train would pull in, and you would be hit by the sheer numbers of preoccupied, busy, unsmiling Mumbaikars. Each as busy as the the next person. I was just sitting, sipping Himalachal Pradesh railway tourism apple juice, enjoying the irony. Try walking against the crowd, and you'd feel like you are breaking every rule in the book, the amount of dirty looks the people would throw your way. Soon all this crowd would disappear, peter out of all these various exists. But not before another train would pull in, carrying another million stories, another million loves , hopes and another million disappointments.

Safety in numbers, very much so. All these people I don't know. I can be whomever I want to. All these people who don't know ME... and I can be whomever I want to. Read a book, and drink juice all day.... Spend time writing long letters, running graphite on paper. How lovely and idyllic!

"Let's waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads

I need your grace
to remind me
to find my own "
snow patrol....

  1. Charm is in minutes lost. Charm is in the sweetness of nothingness. Charm is a history of endearment.

It befriends you. It makes you believe that there is never a blind alley, for life created human and no the other way round. My best times are when I do not have to think. I can just look out. As if looking into a canvas full of arbid brushstrokes composed of impossible colors. Colors unrendered on any painter's skills. How possibly can a man give life? And we are not talking cloning - it's only a physical manipulation.

Life in truest sense is elusive, utopian and a cynic's nightmare. But the best part of life is - everytime, it gives us a chance. We can take it either way and still we will be left with more.

It's fun, it's engrossing and not worth giving up on.

Enstranged thoughts, but the best I could manage because the more I go through your lines the more I feel like talking to you. But I'll let that be. It's better to keep good things the way they are. :)

  5. The fun, my friend, is not in what's better. It's in what inspires and your words managed to. Thoughts then on can flow...
