A happier rain memory ...

I'm a rain-lover.... I love it when it rains, regardless of where I am and what I'm doing... So, as a certified rain lover, I can assure you that its one of the best things that can happen to u when ur pals love rain as much, if not more ,than u!!!

What follows is one of my most favourite memories with one of my favourite ppl, my darling best Friend, Farheen.

So, we had just come out of a boring accounting class to overwhelming rain... and that's when we both went ,er...rather mad! Hollering, and singing Govinda songs we walked smack in the centre of the road wearing bright blue raincoats... and flashing pink pretty umbrellas... and having, to understate it, the best times of our lives! Waving to astounded aunties in BEST buses, and bemused motorists on the roads, and singing and occasionally breaking into inspired (and amazingly well-choreographed ) jigs!!

Matunga, is a pretty place too,... but something magical happens to it in the rains,... with all the trees and all the wind, the cold raindrops, and the wide straight parallel roads, that all lead to the same places... Its a wonder to not fall in love with this little green island in Mumbai, esp in the rains!!

SO, while the rest of the sane crowd was giving us the "looks" and walking a respectable three feet away from us, we were enjoying that moment of insanity just with ourselves!!
What a crazy crazy, day.....

Aerosmith would have been proud!! ( Also, our screeching would have made the lead dude sound positively melodious!!)
